World Drone Cup Saudi Arabia 2025

In 2025 Dutch Drone Racing was invited to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support the FAI World Drone Cup — one of the largest FPV racing events on the planet.
We were hired to deliver track design, race timing, and event consulting, working alongside organizers and international federations.

The stakes were high: not only did this event bring together the world’s best FPV pilots, but it also set the stage for a Guinness World Record attempt.

What we delivered

Track Design – created a layout that balanced technical precision with spectacular high-speed passes.
Race Timing – full RotorHazard timing setup, optimized for accuracy and reliability under extreme conditions.
Event Consulting – advised organizers on race flow, pilot management, and spectator experience.
World Record Support – facilitated the Guinness World Record for most nationalities represented at a drone race (147).
